Credit sources
User credits come from:
Remaining credits = plan credits + purchased credits + bonus credits - consumed credits.
- Plan credits.
- Purchased credits.
- Bonus credits.
Estimated cost
After you upload files and finish configuration, the page shows the estimated credit cost before submission.
Estimated cost can be affected by feature type, file duration, character count, number of target languages, dubbing method, and export content.
Deduction and return
When you submit a project, the corresponding credits are deducted.
If project processing fails, you can manually retry the failed project without duplicate credit deduction.
If an error project is not retried for a long time, expires, or is deleted, deducted credits are handled and returned according to platform rules.
Billing units
- Duration-based features are billed by usage duration. The minimum billing unit is one second, and milliseconds are rounded up to seconds.
- Character-based features are billed by character count. The minimum billing unit is one character.
Credit validity
Plan credits are valid in 30-day subscription periods starting from subscription success. Unused plan credits expire when the period ends, when the subscription lapses, or when an upgrade replaces the old period.
Credit packs require an active subscription. Purchased credits are valid until the end of the current subscription period; renewal or upgrade extends them to the new period end. If the subscription lapses, remaining purchased credits expire and are not restored by subscribing again later.
Bonus credits have a validity period. Use them before they expire.
Deduction order
When credits are deducted, bonus credits are used first, then plan credits, then purchased credits.
Subscriptions and credit packages
Subscription plans provide member benefits, upload limits, concurrency, cloned voice limits, periodic credits, and other benefits.
Credit packages add to the plan credit pool and are suitable when an active subscription needs more credits or temporary extra processing. Buying a credit package does not unlock subscription benefits by itself and does not increase storage space. If the subscription lapses, remaining credit-pack credits expire with the subscription.
Subscription upgrades
Voxsail subscription plans include Lite, Pro, and Max. You cannot repurchase the same plan while it is still active.
You can upgrade from a lower plan to a higher plan, such as from Lite to Pro or Max. During upgrade, only the remaining subscription credits from the current subscription period can be used as an offset toward the new plan. Purchased credits and gift credits are not used for the offset and are not cleared.
After the upgrade payment succeeds, the new plan takes effect immediately and starts a new 30-day period from the payment time. The new plan grants its full subscription credits.
Downgrading from a higher plan is not available through self-service handling. After the current subscription cycle ends, you can choose from the available plans on the page.
