Quick Start

This guide uses an Audio and Video Translation project to explain the basic Voxsail workflow. Subtitle Transcription and Text Voiceover follow a similar flow, with different inputs, processing options, and export results.

1. Log in

Log in before using Voxsail. Users who are not logged in cannot create formal projects, open the editor, export files, or view their credits and projects.

2. Choose a tool

Choose the tool you need in the workspace:

  • To get translated video or translated audio, choose Audio and Video Translation.
  • If you only need subtitle files, choose Subtitle Transcription.
  • If you only need to turn text into voiceover, choose Text Voiceover.

3. Upload or enter content

Audio and Video Translation and Subtitle Transcription require uploaded files. Audio and Video Translation also supports creating a project by filling in a link. Text Voiceover supports direct text entry, pasted text, or uploaded documents for text extraction.

After upload, the system enters the setup stage. Upload completion does not mean the project has started processing. The system starts recognition, transcription, translation, or dubbing only after you finish setup and submit the project.

If you upload multiple files at once, the system applies the same processing settings to those files. If you need different languages, voices, or export settings, submit them in separate batches.

4. Complete setup

Common settings include:

  • Original language: Auto-detect is selected by default, and you can also choose manually.
  • Target language: You must select or confirm it. Audio and Video Translation supports selecting multiple target languages at once.
  • Dubbing: Optional in Audio and Video Translation; required in Text Voiceover.
  • Glossary: Helps keep fixed translations for professional terms, brand terms, and product names.

5. Confirm credits and submit

Before submission, the system shows the estimated credit cost. After confirmation, submit the project and the corresponding credits will be deducted.

6. Wait for processing

After submission, the project enters system processing. Processing time can be affected by file duration, number of target languages, dubbing settings, export content, and queue status.

7. Edit and export

After the project is complete, you can open the editor to review subtitles, translations, timeline, subtitle styles, and dubbing. Export the result after confirming it.

Different tools provide different deliverables. Subtitles, audio, final video, and transcripts are shown separately in the download menu. Project files have a validity period, so download important results before they expire.
